Our adventure in Seoul began the moment we touched down at Incheon International Airport. The excitement in the air was palpable as my sister and I, along with my two energetic nieces, embarked on our journey through this vibrant city. Our first stop was Gyeongbokgung Palace, where the grandeur of traditional Korean architecture left us in awe. The girls were thrilled to watch the changing of the guard ceremony, their eyes wide with wonder as the guards marched in their colorful uniforms. We spent the afternoon wandering through the palace grounds, taking countless photos, and immersing ourselves in the rich history of Korea.

The next day, we ventured into the bustling streets of Myeongdong, a paradise for shopping enthusiasts like my sister and me. The lively atmosphere, filled with the aroma of street food and the chatter of locals and tourists alike, was infectious. My nieces were particularly excited by the myriad of cosmetic shops, trying out various skincare products and collecting samples. We indulged in Korean street food, savoring tteokbokki, hotteok, and other delicious treats. The evening was capped off with a visit to the iconic N Seoul Tower, where we enjoyed a panoramic view of the city’s skyline, glittering against the night sky.

Our final day in Seoul was spent exploring the traditional neighborhood of Bukchon Hanok Village. Walking through the narrow alleys lined with hanoks, we felt as though we had stepped back in time. My nieces were fascinated by the intricate designs of the traditional houses and even tried on hanboks, adding a playful touch to our cultural exploration. We visited several local artisan shops, where we picked up unique souvenirs to remember our trip. As we prepared to leave Seoul, we reflected on the incredible experiences we had shared, the vibrant culture we had embraced, and the cherished memories we created together as a family.
